Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in Good condition with 85% finish. 3/5 Bore (mild pitting). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped.
Rear tangent sight is lightly bent.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark and light gouge at the rear of the butt. Mild pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is light gouging at the rear of the butt. Light gouging on the wrist. Mild gouging above the finger groove. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the top of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark at the heel. Handguard has a mild to heavy gouge near the ferrule. Heavy pressure mark and light gouge before the front barrel band.
Receiver has light to mild pitting. Rear barrel band has mild pitting. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine base has lightly worn finish and light patina.

WF28 stamped, indicating armory refurbishment in 1928.
