Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in Good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light to mild pitting). 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Stock has a 6" unrepaired crack on the forearm between the barrel bands.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the rear of the butt. Heavy gouge above the finger groove and light gouge in front of the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark and light gouging halfway between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there are mild gouges and a heavy pressure mark on the butt. Light gouging on the pistol grip. Light gouging before the finger groove. Heavy gouge above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges between the barrel bands. Handguard has light gouging and a mild pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands.
Receiver has lightly worn finish, light patina, and light to mild pitting. Rear barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Front barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish. Magazine base is in the white.
