Product Description
Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in Very Good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is gouged and chipped.
Furniture appears to have been previously lightly sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there are mild pressure marks before and around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are mild to heavy pressure marks on the forward end of the butt and along the wrist. Mild pressure marks in front of the finger groove.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Light to mild pitting on the left side of the receiver. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish. Magazine base is approaching white and has heavy pitting.
P stamped.
WF27 stamped below the receiver, indicating armory refurbishment by W+F Bern in 1927.
