Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1913, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
One of 15,000 total produced (one of 9,000 in 1913) with a faster 230mm twist barrel (1:9.05") before switching back to 270mm (1:10.63") later in 1913. These rifles were issued to recruits.
Both bolt knobs are chipped.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge on the wrist. Light scratches before the finger groove. Mild pressure marks around the edges of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist above the trigger guard. Light gouge over the finger groove. Mild pressure marks behind the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges at the toe. Light gouge and mild pressure marks in front of the magazine plate. Long scratch before the rear barrel band. Light gouging behind the front barrel band. Light gouge on the comb. Two very small cracks on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. Handguard has light gouging on the right side at the rear. Light gouge on the top side on the rear half. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Bluing was previously refurbished.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has light surface marks.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes muzzle cover.
