Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1913, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
One of 9,000 produced in 1913 with a faster 230mm twist barrel (1:9.05") before switching back to 270mm (1:10.63") later in 1913. These rifles were issued to recruits.
Upper bolt knob is cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. Mild pressure mark at the forward end of the butt. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging at the woodline below the receiver. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges behind the pistol grip. Heavy pressure mark on the wrist. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light surface marks. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has light to mild finish wear. Magazine plate has mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish. Magazine base has heavily worn finish.
P stamped receiver.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
