Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1913, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
One of 9,000 produced in 1913 with a faster 230mm twist barrel (1:9.05") before switching back to 270mm (1:10.63") later in 1913. These rifles were issued to recruits.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy gouges on the butt. Light gouging around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging at the rear of the wrist and mild pressure marks forward of the wrist. Heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are mild pressure marks and light gouges on the butt. Light gouging halfway between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Light gouging on the comb. Handguard has heavy gouging near the ferrule.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish. Magazine base has lightly worn finish.
P stamped receiver.
32 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1932.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
