Swiss private production 1911 Infantry Rifle in good condition with 75% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
Furniture was refinished with a gloss finish.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark at the comb. Severe gouge on the wrist. Severe gouge below the bolt release lever. Light gouging behind the rear barrel band and heavy gouging between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. Light to mild gouge at the forward end of the butt. Light gouging along the woodline near the rear of the receiver. On the underside of the stock there is a yellow coloration behind the front barrel band. On the handguard, there are light gouges at the rear of the handguard and a mild gouge behind the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavily worn finish, heavy patina, and light pitting throughout. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Magazine plate and trigger guard have heavily worn finish and mild patina. Magazine base is in the white.
Barrel is stamped with J. Hartmann Lausanne, which is the gunsmith and gun shop in Lausanne from which this 1911 was purchased.
