Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in good condition with 85% finish. 2/5 Bore (lightly dull, heavy pitting, worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Both bolt knobs are heavily chipped. Bolt knob screw has also been shortened.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges near the bottom of the butt. Mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Heavy pressure marks and light gouging in front of the finger groove. Light gouuge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks scattered around the butt. Mild gouging near the comb at the heel. Heavy pressure mark above the finger groove. Light to mild gouges in front of the rear barrel band. Heavy pressure mark about halfway between the barrel bands. Red paint around the front of the stock. On the underside there is a mild gouge near the magazine well. Light to mild gouges on the forearm between the barrel bands. Light gouging at the forward end of the comb. Handguard has a ehavy gouge before teh rear barrel band, heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band, and a pair of heavy pressure marks before the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Very light pitting throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have mild finish wear. Small, mild surface mark on the top of the rear barrel band. Heavy finish wear on the trigger guard and magazine.
