Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. all matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouging between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock, there is some black and white paint transfer on the butt and some white paint transfer between the grip and the finger groove. Mild pressure marks on the forearm between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is a group of mild pressure marks forward of the magazine plate. Heavy gouge about halfway between the barrel bands. Heavy gouging along the comb of the stock. Handguard has a light gouge behind the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear and light patina throughout. Both barrel bands have heavy finish wear and mild patina. Heavy finish wear on the magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine.
Receiver is P stamped. WF23 stamp below the serial number indicates armory refurbishment in 1923.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
