Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1906, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks running below the comb. Long, mild pressure mark above the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are multiple heavy pressure marks and light gouges at the butt. Light gouging along the side of the stock from the grip to the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock, there is a light gouge at the butt in front of the rear sling mount and a heavy gouge by the magazine catch. Mild to heavy gouge on the right edge of the comb. Handguard has a pair of mild gouges at the rear.
Receiver finish is mildly worn along the right side. Rear barrel band has light to mild finish wear. Front barrel band has light finish wear. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes matching serial number model 1899 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with steel scabbard. Blade is in excellent condition. Light handling wear on the pommel. Scabbard has light handling wear and light to mild finish wear.
Includes leather sling.
