Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1903, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers, except for the bolt knob.
Stock has a tiger stripe pattern.
On the right side of the stock, there is a mild gouge below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges at the center of the butt. Light gouge between the receiver and the magazine. Mild pressure marks between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock, there is a light, thin gouge to the left of the trigger guard. Heavy gouge near the magazine catch. Light gouge before the rear barrel band. Light gouging on the butt of the stock at the heel. Handguard has a light gouge behind the rear barrel band and heavy pressure marks between the barrel bands.
Receiver finish is mildly worn, with heavier finish wear over the chamber. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Light surface marks on the trigger guard.
No P stamp noted.
Includes matching serial number model 1899 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with steel scabbard. Blade is in excellent condition and only has light surface scratches. Light handling wear on the pommel and handle. Scabbard has light finish wear and light patina.
Includes leather sling.
