Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1902, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are mild gouges on the butt at the rear of the grip. Heavy pressure mark in front of the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges on the forward area of the butt. Small, heavy pressure mark below the receiver lightening cut. Heavy gouging below the rear of the finger groove. Light gouging around the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge in front of the rear sling mount and light gouging on the pistol grip. Small, mild gouges in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has light gouging in front of the rear sight. Handguard is chipped behind the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is mildly worn. Both barrel bands have mild finish wear. Surface marks on the edge of the trigger guard. Heavy pitting on the magazine plate around the magazine well.
Receiver is P62 stamped, indicating privatization in 1962.
Includes matching serial number model 1899 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Bayonet has light handling wear on the pommel and handle. Scabbard has light finish wear.
Includes leather sling.
