Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1904, in good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes bayonet.
Stock was previously lightly sanded.
Tiger striping throughout the handguard.
On the left side of the stock, there is a mild pressure mark before the finger groove, above the magazine. Remnants of light gouging at the woodline before the finger groove. Light gouging at the woodline between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge near the magazine catch and light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has remnants of a pair of light gouges behind the rear barrel band.
There is a very faint 2" crack coming off of the receiver tang. Crack is unrepaired.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light patina. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine have mild finish wear and light patina.
Includes matching serial number model 1889/18 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard. Blade has light pitting at the tip. Heavy gouging and heavy pressure marks on the bottom of the right side wood grip. Heavy pressure mark on the bottom of the left side wood grip. Scabbard has light finish wear at the tip.
Receiver is P stamped.
