Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1902, in good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (mildly worn rifling, light to mild pitting). 4/5 Stock. Magazine non-matching serial number. Includes matching bayonet.
Upper bolt knob is chipped. Lower bolt knob is cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt. Scratches in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks at the rear of the butt. Light gouging and scratches from the wrist to the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging along the comb. Handguard has light gouging and a heavy pressure mark between the ferrule and rear barrel band. Heavy gouge halfway between the barrel bands.
Receiver has heavy patina and light pitting. Rear barrel band has mild patina. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish. Magazine base has mild to heavy finish wear.
No P stamp noted.
Includes muzzle cover.
Includes matching serial number 1889 bayonet, produced by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard.
Blade is in excellent condition. Left side grip has heavy gouging. Pommel has a P stamp.
Scabbard has lightly worn finish.
