Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1899, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting in the grooves). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Heavy gouge below the bolt release lever. Light gouging around the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt and a heavy gouge on the wrist, next to the trigger guard. Handguard has a mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band and mild gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
P60 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1960.
Includes leather sling.
Includes matching serial number 1889/18 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard and leather frog.
Blade, guard, and pommel have been polished. Mild surface mark on the guard. Mild pitting throughout the pommel. Scabbard has mildly worn finish and light pitting. No sattler stamp on the leather frog.
