Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1912, in good condition with 50% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy gouge on the forward end of the butt near the comb. Light gouging on the pistol grip and wrist. Mild gouge above the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy gouge on the butt, mild pressure marks at the rear of the butt, and light gouges on the forward end of the butt. Mild pressure marks on the pistol grip. Pressure marks between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouge at the rear of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge next to the magazine catch. Handguard has a heavy gouge on the left side at the rear and a mild gouge on the top side at the rear.
Overall bluing is severely worn.
Receiver is nearly in the white. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Rear barrel band is in the white. Front barrel band is nearly in the white. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine base are in the white. Trigger guard has light pitting.
P stamped receiver.
