Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1911, in good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has a crack coming off the receiver tang and onto the left and right sides of the wrist. Both cracks are unrepaired. The retrofit pistol grip has a crack on the left side that was repaired with glue.
On the right side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark above the magazine. On the left side of the stock there is light gouging on the wrist and scratches between the wrist and the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a mild gouge at the forward end of the butt. Handguard has light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mildly worn finish and light patina. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has light to mild finish wear and light patina. Magazine plate has mild to heavy finish wear. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish. Magazine base is in the white.
No P stamp noted.
