Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1910, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the bolt knob.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges on the butt at the toe. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks on the butt by the toe and light gouging toward the bottom of the butt. Light gouging along the woodline below the receiver. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge by the magazine catch and a mild pressure mark behind the front barrel band. Light gouging along the comb. Heavy gouge at the top of the wrist on the receiver tang. Handguard has a light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light edge wear. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina.
Receiver is P52 stamped, indicating privatization in 1952.
