Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1910, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the magazine (non-serialized replacement).
Upper bolt knob is chipped. Lower bolt knob is cracked.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished with a matte finish. There is debris stuck in the finish.
On the left side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark on the upper edge of the finger groove. On the underside there are light gouges between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Handguard has a scratch in front of the rear barrel band, a mild gouge halfway between the barrel bands, and a scratch behind the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Mild edge wear around the loading slot. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has areas of mild to heavy finish wear. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish and is approaching white.
