Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1909, in very good condition with 75% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a scratch on the butt above the sling mount and mild to heavy pressure marks at the forward end of the butt. Heavy gouging above the magazine. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges above the finger groove and a mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging on the pistol grip. Heavy pressure mark on the comb.
Receiver has mildly worn finish and mild patina. Heavy pitting at the rear of the receiver. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine have heavily worn finish.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes leather sling.
