Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1909, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (dull bore, pitting). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Lower bolt knob is also chipped.
Furniture was sanded and refinished with a gloss finish. Tiger striping throughout the handguard.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the pistol grip. On the left side of the stock there is some white paint transfer on the butt at the toe. Mild pressure marks above the rear sling mount. Light gouging in front of both barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges in front of the magazine plate.
Bluing was previously refurbished.
Receiver has light edge wear and light pitting. Both barrel bands have light surface marks. Light surface marks on the trigger guard.
