Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1909, in very good condition with 90% finish. 3/5 Bore (dull bore, mildly worn rifling, light to mild pitting). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the forward end of the butt. Heavy pressure mark and mild gouge below the bolt release lever. Light gouging between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Mild pressure marks before the finger groove. Light gouging around the finger groove. Scratches before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge next to the magazine catch. Mild to heavy gouges in front of the magazine plate. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. Light gouging at the heel. Mild pressure marks around the center of the comb. Handguard has light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light surface marks throughout. Light pitting on the top of the receiver. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish, light patina, and light pitting.
