Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1908, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side there is light gouging on the butt. Heavy pressure mark on the pistol grip. Mild gouge halfway between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt. Mild gouge in front of the finger groove. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is heavy gouging on the pistol grip. Mild gouge in front of the rear barrel band. Mild gouge at the center of the comb. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mildly worn finish and light pitting. Both barrel bands have mild to heavy finish wear. Magazine plate has heavily worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish. Magazine base is in the white.
P63 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1963.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
