Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1906, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks around the center of the butt. Light gouging around the finger groove. Heavy gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Mild gouge on the wrist. Heavy gouge between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are mild gouges on the butt at the toe. Heavy pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. Light gouging on the butt at the heel. Heavy gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. Handguard has light gouging on the top side before the rear barrel band and on the right side before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mildly worn finish, heavy patina, and light surface marks. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has heavy patina. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish and heavy patina. Magazine has heavy patina and heavy surface marks.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
