Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1905, in good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Lower bolt knob is chipped.
Stock has an unrepaired 2" crack coming off the left side of the receiver tang.
Tiger stripe pattern throughout the handguard.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks at the butt below the comb. Pair of heavy pressure marks on the grip. Heavy pressure marks inside the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are mild to heavy pressure marks on the grip. Long scratch forward of the grip. Mild pressure mark forward of the finger groove, slightly extending onto the handguard. On the underside of the stock there is a gouge in front of the magazine catch. Three heavy gouges around the receiver tang. Handguard has light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Light patina behind the loading slot. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and spots of light pitting. Light pitting on the magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine. Light surface marks on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes leather sling.
