Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1905, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light pitting). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Prominent tiger stripe pattern on the left side of the stock at the butt and grip.
On the right side of the stock, there are small, light gouges below the bolt release lever. Light gouge in front of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the forward end of the butt. Heavy pressure marks in front of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge at the magazine catch. Heavy gouge at the receiver tang. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark and light gouge behind the rear barrel band. Handguard also has some worn red paint forward of the rear barrel band that partially extends onto the stock on both sides.
Receiver finish is heavily worn and has mild patina throughout. Rear barrel band has mild finish wear. Front barrel band heavy finish wear. Mild to heavy finish wear on the magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
