Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1903, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked.
Stock is cracked at the wrist.
On the right side of the stock, there is a light gouge behind the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark in front of the finger groove, slightly extending onto the handguard. Group of light gouges and dark colored light pressure marks between the barrel bands on both the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock, there is a heavy gouge near the magazine catch and a heavy gouge around the forward end of the magazine plate. Light gouge on the comb of the stock.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light patina and light scratches throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Light finish wear and light edge wear on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes leather sling.
