Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1903, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges and large, mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Mild pressure marks between the finger groove and rear barrel band. Heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks forward of the grip. Heavy pressure marks in front of the finger groove. Small dots of white paint at the woodline on the stock and handguard, before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge behind the rear sling mount and a light gouge in front. Heavy gouge in front of the magazine catch. Chip at the receiver tang.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Surface marks found throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have light to mildly worn finish. Light finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard. Light pitting on the magazine base.
Receiver is P58 stamped, indicating privatization in 1958.
Includes leather sling.
