Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1903, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the rear of the butt and a couple of mold pressure marks below the heel. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks throughout the center and forward area of the butt. Multiple marks between the grip and finger groove. Pair of small, light gouges on the forearm between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is a gouge in front of the magazine catch. Heavy pressure marks along the comb of the stock.
Receiver has areas of light to mild finish wear. Light edge wear throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have mild finish wear and light patina. Trigger guard has mild finish wear.
Receiver is P36 stamped, indicating privatization in 1936.
Includes leather sling.
