Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1903, in good condition with 60% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the bolt knob.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Handguard has tiger striping between the ferrule and rear barrel band.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging on the wrist. Heavy pressure marks before the rear barrel band. Heavy gouge before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks at the rear of the butt and light gouging at the forward end of the butt. Light gouging forward of the wrist. Heavy pressure marks and light gouging before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt. Heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. Handguard has light gouging around the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavily worn finish. Both barrel bands are approaching white. Barrel has mild pitting. Magazine plate and trigger guard are in the white. Trigger guard has light pitting. Magazine base is in the white.
