Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1902, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 2/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks on the rear of the butt and mild gouging on the wrist. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge at the rear of the butt and a light gouge on the pistol grip. Mild to heavy pressure marks forward of the wrist. On the underside of the stock there is a light to mild gouge in front of the magazine plate. Light gouging along the comb.
Handguard has an unrepaired 4 1/2" crack on the top side in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light surface marks.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
