Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1902, in good condition with 70% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light pitting). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Stock has an unrepaired crack on the left side on the pistol grip insert.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks at the forward end of the butt and on the wrist. Mild gouge before the finger groove. Heavy gouge on the bottom edge of the finger groove. Splice between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Splice on the wrist. Light gouging before the finger groove. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Heavy pressure marks along the comb.
Receiver has heavily worn finish. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish and light patina. Barrel has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish and light surface marks. Magazine base is in the white.
