Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1902, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Upper bolt knob is also chipped.
On the right side of the stock there are mild pressure marks over the magazine. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt near the heel and heavy gouges and a pressure mark near the rear sling mount. Heavy gouge forward of the wrist, over the trigger guard. Light to mild gouging before the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark at the rear of the finger groove. Light gouging around the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the pistol grip. Heavy gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light patina. Light to mild patina over the chamber. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Trigger guard is in the white.
P stamped receiver. ·10 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1910.
Includes leather sling.
