Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1901, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 2/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are chipped.
Handguard has an unrepaired crack behind the rear barrel band.
On the left side of the stock, there are heavy gouges at the butt toward the bottom. Gouging on the woodline below the handguard ferrule. On the underside of the stock, there is a mild gouge near the mag catch and a heavy pressure mark behind the front barrel band. Handguard has gouging on the woodline and heavy handling wear on the left side next to the ferrule.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Light patina and light surface marks throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have mild finish wear and patina. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped. ·9 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1909.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
