Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1901, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting in the grooves). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there is a small, light gouge below the handguard ferrule. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges and long pressure marks around the rear of the butt. Light gouging before the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge near the magazine catch.
Receiver has heavy finish wear along the top side and over the chamber. Mild finish wear on the right side of the receiver. Rear barrel band has mild finish wear. Front barrel band has heavy finish wear. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate. Heavy finish wear on the trigger guard. Heavy finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes leather sling.
