Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Unrepaired crack on the right side of the stock between the barrel bands.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy gouge and mild pressure marks at the forward end of the butt. Mild pressure marks and light gouging before the finger groove. Light gouging around the finger groove. Mild gouge before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges near the underside of the butt. Mild pressure marks on the pistol grip and wrist. Numerous mild pressure marks between the wrist and the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt. Heavy pressure marks in front of the magazine plate. Heavy pressure marks along the comb. Heavy gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. Handguard has a light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mild edge wear and light surface marks. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish and light surface marks. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear. Trigger guard has mild edge wear and light surface marks. Magazine has mild edge wear.
P43 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1943. ·3 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1903.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
