Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock, there is heavy gouging at the butt. Heavy gouge behind the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a mild gouge at the butt. Thin gouge at the receiver tang.
Receiver finish is mildly worn. Light surface mark over the chamber. Both barrel bands have light edge wear. Light finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P38 stamped, indicating privatization in 1938.
Includes leather sling.
