Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a long scratch at the center of the butt. Light gouging throughout the butt. Heavy pressure mark below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt and light gouges toward the forward end of the butt. Heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is a mild gouge on the pistol grip. Mild gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang.
Receiver has heavy edge wear throughout. Front barrel band has light edge wear. Trigger guard has light edge wear and light surface marks.
Receiver is P57 stamped, indicating privatization in 1957.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
