Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Handguard has a 2 1/2" armory repaired crack between the barrel bands.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges throughout the butt. Mild pressure marks on the wrist. Mild pressure marks between the wrist and finger groove. Heavy gouge on the rear edge of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist around the trigger guard. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Light gouging along the comb. Heavy gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Both barrel bands have light pitting. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine has lightly worn finish and light pitting.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes leather sling.
