Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1898, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks on the wrist. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there is a mild pressure mark around the center of the butt. Mild to heavy pressure marks forward of the wrist, above the trigger guard. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge next to the magazine catch. Mild pressure marks on the comb. Handguard has an armory repaired crack between the barrel bands.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear and light patina. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard has light to mild patina. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish and light pitting.
P52 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1952. ·10 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1910.
Includes leather sling.
