Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1912, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the barrel (rebarreled with a non-serialized Hammerli barrel). Micrometer rear sight device installed.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging at the rear of the butt and light gouging below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there is light gouging at the rear of the butt and on the wrist. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. Heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands. On the top of the stock there is light gouging on the comb. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band and a red stain before the front barrel band.
Receiver has light surface marks. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine has mild edge wear.

Rear tangent sight has a micrometer fine sight adjustment device installed.
