Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1909, in Good condition with 60% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Handguard has an armory repaired crack between the barrel bands.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy gouges and heavy pressure marks on the rear half of the butt. Light gouge at the forward end of the butt. Mild gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Heavy pressure marks between the wrist and the finger groove. Mild gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are mild pressure marks on the butt at the toe. On the top of the stock there are mild pressure marks on the comb.
Receiver has heavily worn finish and light surface marks. Rear barrel band has a light scratch on the top side. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine base have been polished and are in the white.
