Product Description
Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1905, in Very Good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are chipped.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished. Stock has an armory repaired crack on the underside at the pistol grip.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Heavy pressure mark before the finger groove. Round heavy pressure mark before the rear barrel band. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is heavy gouging at the rear of the butt and light gouging around the center of the butt. Handguard has a light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light patina on the rear half, heavy finish wear on the forward half. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish and light surface marks. Magazine base has Light edge wear and light to mild finish wear.
