Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light pitting in the grooves). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
On the right side of the stock, there is a mild pressure mark on the butt at the heel. Light gouge on the wrist. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the bottom of the butt. Light gouging between the wrist and the finger groove. Mild to heavy gouging before the rear barrel band. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. Light gouging along the comb. Handguard has light gouging at the rear and light gouging behind the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear and light patina throughout. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish. Front barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Heavy pitting on the hinge of the front barrel band. Light pitting throughout the magazine plate and trigger guard. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine base has heavily worn finish and mild to heavy finish wear on the sides.
Receiver is P13 stamped, indicating privatization in 1913.
