Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Tiger striping on the left side of the stock at the butt.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks on the butt along the comb. Light gouging before the finger groove, above the magazine. Heavy pressure mark inside the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist. Light gouge behind the magazine. Thin, mild pressure mark in front of the magazine plate. Large gouge on the butt at the heel. Mild pressure marks along the comb. Large gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. Handguard has light gouging around the rear barrel band.
All bluing was previously refurbished.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish.
P33 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1933.
Includes leather sling.
