Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the rear of the butt near the comb. Deep scratches on the forearm in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt below the comb. Mild gouge on the rear edge of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist. Light gouging halfway between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band. Handguard has light gouging between the barrel bands.
Receiver has mild edge wear throughout. Heavily worn finish and heavy pitting over the chamber. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Magazine plate has mildly worn finish at the wrist. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina.
