Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the forward end of the butt, rear of the wrist. Mild to heavy gouge on the wrist. Light to mild gouges and rash forward of the wrist. Light gouging around the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. Light gouge before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a mild to heavy gouge between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. Light gouging on the butt along the comb.
Receiver has mildly worn finish and light patina. Light to mild surface marks at the rear of the receiver. Rear barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear and light patina. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish and light patina. Trigger guard has light to mild finish wear. Base of the magazine has heavily worn finish.
