Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Tiger striping throughout the stock.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the wood line, near the chamber. Light gouging in front of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge on the forearm between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are heavy pressure marks between the magazine plate and rear barrel band.
All bluing has areas of heavy finish wear and mild patina.
Receiver is P12 stamped, indicating privatization in 1912.
