Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there are mild pressure marks and light gouges throughout the butt. Mild gouge at the rear of the wrist. Mild pressure marks between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks and light gouges throughout the butt. Light gouging on the wrist. Heavy pressure marks between the wrist and the finger groove. "StG" stamped above the rear of the finger groove for St. Gallen. Heavy pressure marks around the front edge of the finger groove. Light gouging around the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge at the wrist. Mild pressure marks and light gouges in front of the magazine plate. Heavy pressure marks along the comb. Handguard has heavy pressure marks and light gouging between the barrel bands.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light to mild patina. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish. Magazine has mildly worn finish.
Barrel is stamped "StG" for St Gallen.
No P stamp.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
