Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1896, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock, there are small, mild gouges above the finger groove. Light gouging behind the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks on the grip. Light gouge behind the receiver tang.
Nearly all metal parts have mild to heavy pitting. Receiver finish is lightly worn. Both barrel bands, the magazine plate, and trigger guard have light finish wear and light patina.
Receiver is P32 stamped, indicating privatization in 1932.
Includes muzzle cover.
